Empowering Rural Women
I believe women hold a special place in the family as the heart and the first teachers of their children. This idea led me to connect and work with some inspirational personalities for almost 3 years, eager to sit down and share ideas on how they could support themselves and their family through education.
Throughout my time, each woman I spoke with had a deep desire to educate their children and a strong commitment to their family’s future. They weren’t just there to talk about their kids and families; they were there to grow and discover new possibilities for themselves, too. Seeing their passion and hearing their dreams was incredibly inspiring.

Promoting Equity at UCSC
I am serving as a mentor at the Women in Science and Engineering (WiSE) program at UC Santa Cruz, which is dedicated to promoting equity and inclusion in STEM. I am supporting their goal of advancing women in STEM in the face of historical, past, and present challenges.

IIT Ashram with Dhyanasetu
The 18 underprivileged students(from rural parts of Uttar Pradesh, India) I’ve been teaching over the past few years now have a remarkable opportunity: their education will be fully supported by IIT Ashram, until their high school. I can’t express how grateful I am, especially to S.R. Mishra, the founder of IIT Ashram. Thanks to his generosity and commitment, these young minds will continue to learn and grow, with every chance to reach their dreams with IIT Ashram

As an Activist Educator
With the ground as our classroom, I had the chance to teach these incredible young children. They didn’t have fancy supplies—just simple notebooks, a lot of determination, and the brightest smiles. Our time together was always a shared journey, and in watching them grow, I always found myself inspired, connected and at peace.

Teaching
At, IIT Ashram I have mentored and trained over 300 underrepresented students in Physics and Mathematics for a competitive engineering JEE exam, one of the world’s toughest engineering entrance tests.
